Ruby W. Kennedy

Ruby Mae Kennedy, age 94, of Kennesaw, GA stepped to the gracious throne of Christ on February 4th, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Kennedy was an active member of New Salem Baptist Church and was a choir member for 40 plus years.

Mrs. Kennedy was preceded in death by her parents Melvin and Lizzie Wills; her husband John B. Kennedy, Sr; brothers Jackson, Fay, Clell, Alvin, and Edward Wills; sisters Audine Chandler, Mildred Sellers, and Jo Ellen Scroggs. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, son John B. Kennedy, Jr and wife Lorene; grandsons Shane Kennedy, Johnny Kennedy and his wife Amy; great granddaughter Savannah; brother Norman Wills. Mrs. Kennedy doted on her family and is also survived by many friends and extended family.

Visitation for family and friends is Wednesday, February 8, from 12pm-2pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw. Following the visitation there will be a Chapel service which will begin at 2pm with Rev. Nicholas Pepper officiating. Burial will follow at New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Thank you for joining our family to celebrate the life of Ruby (Memaw). We all hold onto the special memories we shared with her. Thank you for your friendship, prayers and support through her lifetime, but especially during her sickness and now in her passing.
