Roy Lee McClure

Mr. McClure spent his career at Lockheed where he worked for 32.5 years. Roy was elected President of the National Industrial Recreation Association in 1976. He was a Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of Acworth for 65 years. Roy was also a member of the Masonic Lodge for 50 years. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 70 years – Marie McClure; Son – Don L. McClure (wife – Myrna); Daughter – Cheryl McClure; grandson – Brandon; and great-granddaughter – Cheyanna McClure.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain.

A service to honor the life of Mr. Roy Lee McClure will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 2pm from the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw, Ga. Burial will follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens in Acworth. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 6-8pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.
