Mr. Robert Alton Jackson, age 72 of Kennesaw, Georgia, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021. Born in Marietta to Robert and Betty Jackson.
Al was a retired Cobb County Firefighter serving 27 years at stations 17 Kennesaw, 4 Vinings, and 2 Oakdale. He was a farrier for many years, was a metal forger, and member of the ABANA Forge. He was a dog trainer, loved Labrador Retrievers, and being behind his dogs on long walks. His new hobby was Cowboy Action Shooting. He also helped Marietta First Baptist with cooking for the super bowl, Thanksgiving, many fund raisers and was known for his BBQ skills.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 31st from 5-8pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1 pm Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Chapel in Kennesaw. Rev. Bill Ross officiating. Interment will be at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw.
