Robert served in the United States Army for four years, spending some of his assignment as a Combat Medic. He then went on to serve a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Taiwan. Robert graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of California San Diego and later went to receive his doctorate. At the time of his passing, Robert was employed as the Director of International Pricing and Marketing for United BioSource Corporation. Prior to moving to Acworth, Robert spent most of his adult life with his wife and family in California. As a result of spending much time on the West Coast, Robert learned how to surf; becoming one of his favorite hobbies. Along with surfing, he simply loved being outdoors doing other numerous hobbies. In describing Robert it was easy to say he was an extremely hard worker and did everything to provide the best life possible for his wife and children. Though he enjoyed his hobbies, spending time with his family brought him the most contentment and satisfaction. He was a very dedicated husband and a wonderful father to his four children; he will be missed by all who knew and loved him, Robert lived big and loved big.
