Richard Harold Campbell

Richard Harold Campbell, age 84, of Marietta, GA, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020. He was born on August 12, 1935 in Greensboro, N.C. to his late parents; Woodrow Wilson and Pauline Rue Campbell. Mr. Campbell worked for Texaco Inc for 35 plus years. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family and making people laugh. Anytime he could get out and go fishing, he was a happy guy. Mr. Campbell was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather who will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Julia Scism Campbell, and his brother Donald Wayne Campbell.

Survivors include his sons, David Campbell of Roswell, GA, Jeffery and wife Jennifer Campbell of Highlands, AR. Grandchildren, Garrett and wife Cara Campbell, Dalton Withers, great-grandchildren, Grady Campbell and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.

A private graveside service for Mr. Campbell will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to Covid-19 restrictions.
