We met  in First grade at Acworth Elementary . Life happened and we didn't see each other as often as we should have  over the years but when we did it was just like we never missed a day. Rena was a  blessing to anyone she ever met , she always had a beautiful sweet spirit and a lovely smile .Its not everyday that you meet a person as genuine and compassionate as Rena, she was so beautiful not only on the outside but on the inside as well . She never complained and was always a positive person no matter what she was going through she always took the time to text or call and just listen . We had a chance a few years ago to hangout at her pool and just laugh and catch up , and be silly , she was so excited she was going to Six Flags which amazed me .I know she will be missed by anyone that met her but I also know she was a child of God and that she trusted in him and she doesn't have to  be Superwoman anymore. Prayers for Scott  and kiddos , We will ALL miss you my sweet friend , til we meet again .

I grew up with Rene during childhood. We fought, played together she was a very nice lady. We rode the bus together getting off at Crane’s taxidermy. Praying for her family! 

I am so grateful for the memories I have with you - from watching you clog in your fancy dresses as kids, to hanging out at Six Flags as preteens, to watching Gan hold each of our firstborns as new moms, to hanging out as empty nesters. We’ve seen all the phases of life together. Sometimes there were long gaps, but as soon as we got back together, it was like no time had passed at all. You are an amazing person and have made a huge impact on so many lives. 

Rena was a wonderful lady and friend! She will be missed dearly.   Prayers for her family.

When I was a young young girl (Rena was only a year older) but she taught me how to clog. 
I always loved clogging around at home after that. I never was in a group. 
But I still remember how she taught me and hanging out with her. Sweet girl, sweet lady. 

Rena and I grew up in the same neighborhood.  I am very sorry to hear of her passing. Prayers go out to Scott and her children!  

Best dressed this past year for Halloween. Made all of us smile. So many good memories over the years. You fought a long hard fight Rene and will be truly missed. Don’t worry we will watch after Chel and the boys. As for Scott we will give him extra big hugs for you. Gone but never forgotten!🖤

I met Rene when she came to work at Hardy Chevrolet. I remember her sitting in her office on the first day and having a worried look on her face. I went into her office and sat down and she said “ I am not sure if all of these ladies will ever accept me.” I told her that it would happen just be patient because the office manager before her left some big shoes to fill. I told her she looked like she needed a friend and I would be glad to be that friend. We hit it off instantly and Rene always had a smile to share,time to give and time to care.She had a wonderful nature warm and true. She would let me talk to her no matter what she had going on and visa versa, if she needed to talk I would let her. She was always there to help me figure things out, listen to me when I was upset, and cheer me up when I was down. She would always tell me “There is only one way to happiness, and that is for me to stop worrying about things which are beyond my control.”.
She was like me in a lot of ways. We both valued our family and friends more than anything. We were both very dedicated to our job. 
Her dad had rented a basement apartment from my parents and no matter how bad she was feeling, she always made sure to come and clean his apartment, wash his laundry and go get his groceries for the week. 
She would always check on me when I was sick and I would do the same. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside!
I will always miss my friend and it breaks my heart knowing I will never get another phone call, text or a Facebook message from her, that is the selfish side of me, but it makes me happy knowing that she is in heaven with no more pain and sickness, she is dancing with the angels now, walking that street of gold and resting high on that mountain. God saw her fighting so hard all of these years and decided that her little body was tired and she had fought a good fight and decided it was time for her not to have to fight anymore. 

 A friend of Rene for 8 years. When my grandson would visit me at Marietta Doge i always had to take him to the office to visit her she was so good to him.He was only 1 -1/2 he just loved her. Where gonna miss you dearly but i know God needed you in heaven he knew  he needed you. Walking the streets of gold , singing and praising God .  I’am saying  someday we will meet again until then I’ll be praying for your family & friends God comfort them all during this time of sadness. Truly a one of a kind lady who will be missed by so many.  Thankful for the memories.  Praying for your family and friends.  

Renee you truly are a shinning star.   You fought hard till the very end.  I will always remember your smile,  your laugh and your big heart.  

I have so many fun memories with Rena.  We’ve been friends for almost 20 years.  Our kids went to school together and the girls cheered on the same squad.  She loved her family and was always there supporting the kids no matter what they did.  We traveled many times together with the girls for cheer.  One of the best memories I have was a trip to Panama City and us singing in the Waffle House.  She always had a smile on her face and I’ll miss her very much.   I know she is in a better place and is pain free now.  My memories will have to do until we meet again sweet friend.

Wow, this asks to share one memory and I don’t have enough room for every single memory of 40+ years. We met in middle school and became fast friends. It always seemed when we were together there was going to be some sort of trouble. We rode to school every day, stopping by the 7/11 for a breakfast of champions. She had a Reeces peanut butter cup and coke and I had a snickers and sprite. From there we got married, had kids, life seemed to get busy but when our kids got older we got in touch with each other again and we’ve never been apart again. I’ve seen you struggle, thrive and live the life you were given to its fullest. I was always in awe of you and your never give up attitude, strength and desire to GO. I already miss our daily conversations and your “Hey, whatcha doing” or hold on let me order my martins biscuit. Life here on Earth is a little darker but I know there’s another angel in heaven looking down over us. I’ll miss my friendship with you but the memories will last until my days are done here on earth. Love you always!

Memories of Rena are many, my heart will hold her close always. For 34 years I've been blessed to call her my friend.  She has always been there for me in times of good and bad. Rena I love you more than I can put into words. The greatest gift of life is friendship and I have received that most precious gift 10fold by being friends with Rena.
I miss you and love you but I know how happy you are!

Rena is certainly not disappointed!! She is with our Heavenly Father and rejoicing with Ms. Grace. God bless you all for healing and comfort during this time. Know that Rena was a light no one can replace.
