Randall Corey Bloodworth, age 62, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Sunday February 17, 2019. He was born on October 17, 1956. Randy was dearly loved by his family and friends. He had a quick wit and loved to laugh. Randy loved playing Golf (especially with his sons). He was one of the Braves biggest fans and an avid fan of the Falcons and the Georgia Bulldogs. He enjoyed sharing a meal with those he loved, especially at Oyster Café. But, most of all Randy loved his family. They were his greatest treasure. So many have commented how Randy was like a “Dad” to them and his own Dad said Randy was like a “brother” to him. Randy was a man of great integrity, a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, son and brother. He was a member of Saint Catherine’s of Siena Church and had a deep faith in God. He was a hard worker and dedicated to serving his customers through his own flooring company. We are so grateful for each day we shared with him and Randy will be greatly missed.
Randall is survived by his wife, Mary Bloodworth; daughter Anna Entz (Tom); sons, Corey Bloodworth, Paul Bloodworth, parents, Joan and Edgar Bloodworth, mother-in-law June Fennelly; sisters, Becky Conrad (Ray), Sandra Ellis, brothers, Greg Bloodworth (Paige), Paul Bloodworth (Amy), Gary Bloodworth (Marlo), Fennelly family: John (Teresa), Teresa (Don), Kevin (Abbey), Peter (Amy), Tom (Lisa), June, Jeannie and a myriad of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A memorial mass for Randy will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1618 Ben King Rd., Kennesaw, GA 30144. In Lieu of flowers the family would ask that you just say a prayer and thanksgiving to God for Randy’s life.
