Phyllis Dean Traylor, age 86, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Phyllis was a loving and devoted wife to her husband James for 66 years, she was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, reading , puzzels, crafts and sewing, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Phyllis was a member of the Red Hats Society, and was active in her church. She will be loved and missed by all that knew her.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, James Arlon Traylor; daughters, Lee Ann Lewman (Mike), and Billie Dean Stewart; grandsons, Christopher Stewart, Matthew Stewart (Alex); nephews, Richard and William Baker.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Buenos and Velma Waller Baker; her brother Kinzel Baker.
A celebration of life gathering for Phyllis will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Phyllis' memory may be made to Acworth United Methodist Church.
