Mr. Phillip Michael Harris, age 74, of Kennesaw, GA., passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Mr. Harris was born on August 18, 1942 in Atlanta, GA, a son of the late Beuford Howell Harris and Ruby Lambert Harris.
Mr. Harris spent most of his life in the Cobb County area. He married the love of his life Ms. Patsy Willbanks in 1962 and the two built a wonderful life together. Phillip worked as a Sales Associate for Frito Lay from which he retired after twenty years of dedicated service in 2004. Following his career with Frito Lay he went on to work as a Sales Representative for Day’s Chevrolet in Acworth for six years. Phillip was a very hardworking man and was dedicated to providing for his family. In his spare time he could be found playing golf or watching baseball and Nascar racing. Phillip was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend; he will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Harris is survived by his life of fifty-four years, Mrs. Patsy Willbanks Harris; one daughter, Tracy Walker, husband Steve; two siblings, Larry Harris, wife Carol, and Martha Worthan, husband Gary; one grandson, Bradley Walker; a godchild, Brandy Hembree; sister-in-law Cherry Willams, husband Bill; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends also survive.
A graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Phillip Harris will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Thursday, April 13, 2017 in the Mount Harmony Cemetery in Mableton, GA with Billy Williams officiating.
The family will receive friends from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw.
