Mr. Oliver Eugene Wallace, 93, of Kennesaw, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 17, at 1:00 pm at Winnwood Retirement Center in Marietta with Rev. Mack Riley officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
Mr. Wallace was a native of Lemont Furnace, PA and had retired from the McDonnell Douglas Aerospace Corporation where he was employed for many years in the aerospace industry. He was a Veteran of the US Army, having served during WWII. Mr. Wallace resided in Lompoc, CA for 40 years where he was a member of the Elks Club. He loved to play pool and watch sports. His wife Mary Louise preceded him in death in 2007.
Those who survive are his son – Terry and wife Susan Wallace of Acworth, grandchildren – Greg and wife Carol Wallace and Lauren Wallace, sisters – Leola Broderick of Uniontown, PA and Pat Myer of Lancaster, PA.
Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw is in charge of arrangements.
