Nancy Lou Holden Platt , age 78, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away on Saturday March 28, 2020. Nancy was born May 29, 1941. Nancy is reunited in heaven with her parents, Malcolm and Gladys Holden, and her sister, Joyce Thomas.
Nancy is survived by: her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Rick Morgan, and their children, Kathryn, Jeremy, Matthew, and Sterling; her daughter and son-in-law, Joanna and Keefe Bohannan, and their children, Sarah, Will, and Brad; her brother and sister-in-law, Malcolm and Cathy Holden; her brother-in-law Frank Thomas; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Kurt Holden, Whitney Russell, Lori Gilbert, and Mark Thomas, and their families.
Nancy exemplified love in countless ways. She always knew how to lift others and to support them in any way she could; especially her family and those in need. Through her strong faith and loving heart, she served so many, including MUST Ministries’ Summer Lunch Program through her church, Hillside United Methodist Church in Woodstock. While Nancy worked to help people in many ways throughout her life, as an Administrative Assistant and then as a volunteer for numerous organizations, her most cherished role was that of a loving cornerstone to her family – her parents, her aunts, her siblings, her nieces, her nephews, and especially her children and precious grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's memory may be made to MUST Ministries at https://www.mustministries.org/give-help.
A celebration on of life will be held at a future date when the condition of our world allows us to gather again. Until then, fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.winkenhoferpineridgefuneralhome.com for Nancy’s surviving family.
