Nancy L. Duncan, age 85, of Marietta, GA, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020. She was born on June 7, 1934 in Johnsonburg, PA to her late parents Frederich and Dorothy Forster Lawrence. Nancy worked as a schoolteacher for the Newberry School District for many years and enjoyed her retirement years as a part-time associate at Wal-mart. Some of Mrs. Duncan’s hobbies include traveling, writing, reading, birdwatching and crossword puzzles. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed dearly by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Duncan.
Survivors include her children, Robert and Debbie Duncan of St. Petersburg, FL; Chuck and Dawn Duncan of Kernersville, NC; Meg and Norton Schlachter of Marietta, GA; Beth and Shawn Gilbertson of Seattle, WA; brother, Charles Lawrence of Henderson, NV; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
