Martha Charlotte Anderson

Martha Charlotte Anderson, age 83, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. Martha was born on December 30, 1937, to the late Taylor George Hamrick and Ruthelle Searcy Barcley in Jasper, Georgia. Martha was married to her late husband James Luther Anderson Jr. for 55 wonderful years. They had a great life together and made many memories. She worked as a nurse assistant at Kennestone Hospital and loved what she did. Martha enjoyed singing in the choir, and she loved helping Connection Point Church where she attended for many years. She also enjoyed thrift stores and having her daughters and son plant beautiful flowers for her. Martha was a wonderful woman and will be missed by all that knew her.

Martha is survived by her daughters Vicky Dunn and Angie Conn, her son-in-law Neil, and her son Randy Anderson; her daughter-in-law Vicki Anderson her sister-in-law Louis Hamrick and her brother-in-law Earl Oliver; and her 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Martha was preceded in death by her son Kenneth "Kenny" Lee; her brother Belton Hamrick and her sister Margaret Oliver, and her son-in-law David Dunn.

The visitation for Martha will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. The service will occur Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 2:00 PM. The burial will occur Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at Kennesaw City Cemetery.
