Linda Minnis Tidwell

Born November 5, 1947, to Mr. and Mrs. James Wesley Minnis of East Point.

She was a lifelong resident of Atlanta where she met and married the love of her life Robert on March 14, 1973. They spent 47 years together sharing a passion for their birds, beautiful yard, and Georgia Tech football.

She was strong willed and stubborn at times, but also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor.

She will be remembered for all the heart she shared with her friends, family, and neighbors. When her time came, she carried herself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who came before her. She will be missed dearly.

Her legacy will live on through the kindness and selfless gift to Children’s Health care of Atlanta. Showing us all to live a life of meaningful acts of love like Christ modeled for us.

In typical Miss Linda fashion, there will be no services planned. Certainly no pomp and circumstance. She will be laid to rest at Pine Ridge Memorial Cemetery. And she will continue on her journey with the Lord and her loving husband.
