Linda H Floyd

Linda Herren Floyd, age 67, of Acworth passed away on Saturday, December 3rd 2016. She worked as a Teacher and Media Specialist for Cobb County Schools for 30 years. Linda was a lively woman who adored her grandchildren, children, and husband of 46 happy years. Mrs. Floyd enjoyed going on cruises, traveling and going to the beach. She often visited Europe, Lake Tahoe, Copenhagen, San Francisco, and Lisbon. Linda will always be remembered as a great story-teller, loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Linda Floyd is survived by her husband Rodney C. Floyd of Acworth; Son Ryan Floyd and his wife Angela of Woodstock; Daughter Lori Floyd Bruce and her husband Daniel of Lisbon, Portugal; Brother Ronald Pete Herren and his wife Linda of Powder Springs; Sister Sheila Grimes of Perry; Grandchildren Melanie Grace Floyd, Barrett Laine Bruce, Ansley Claire Bruce, Audrey Elizabeth Floyd, Clayton Scott Bruce, and Reid Clayton Floyd.

Friends are cordially invited to the visitation from five o’clock to seven o’clock in the evening on Sunday, December 4th 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.A Funeral Service will be held at twelve o’clock noon on Monday, December 5th 2016 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in the Chapel followed by a reception at the Event Center where friends may bring refreshments.
