She had worked as an administrator for Eaton's Department Store and handled their book keeping for many years. She was a fun and outgoing individual who enjoyed shopping. Some of her favorite stores included Macy's and Rich's. She loved her family and in her later years enjoyed riding through downtown Acworth to see the city that she called home throughout her life.
Mrs. Ragsdale had many passions in her life including spending time with her grandchildren, sitting on her front porch watching the world around her, and shopping for school clothes for her grandchildren.
She took pride in everything that she touched and also in her appearance. She enjoyed getting her nails and hair done. Mrs. Ragsdale enjoyed good, old country music and her favorite artist was Bob Segar. She always seemed to have his cassette tapes playing in her car when you would catch a ride with her.
Mrs. Ragsdale's favorite time of the year was the fall and watching the leaves change colors in the mountains were one of her favorite pass times. Christmas was especially enjoyable for her as she loved buying gifts for others.
She will be best remembered as "Grandmother" to everyone.
Mrs. Ragsdale is preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Ragsdale. She is survived by her children, Misty Star Day of Acworth, Ronnie Ragsdale of Acworth, and Ginger Ragsdale of Acworth; and grandchildren who will cherish her memory.
