John Clingan Wick Sr.

John Clingan Wick Sr., age 94, passed away on January 30, 2020 in Kennesaw, Georgia. John was born in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late George L. Wick and Margaret Clingan. Later in life, moved to Charlotte to be close to family. In 1990, John moved to Atlanta.

John served in the United States Military from September 1944 to December 1944. For 15 years, he was married to the late Janet Wearstler. In May of 1996, he married Rose Wick. They enjoyed ballroom dancing, traveling, taking cruises, and vacationing with their friends.

John is survived by his wife Rose Wick, his only child, John Wick, Jr. (Carol), granddaughter, Jennifer Garfield (Jonathan) and 5 great grandchildren. Stepchildren Ronald Turner and Cheryl Patterson (Terry) and four step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.

Visitation services for John Clingan Wick, Sr. will be held on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 11:30 am to 1pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Funeral services to follow at 1pm.
