John Wesley Price Jr.

John resided most of his life in the Marietta area. He joined the United States Navy and for a few years, this is what led him around the world. In 1973, for the next seventeen years, he remained with Barbara Wiley raising their three children. He then continued to be the best father he could be for his children. John was an amazing father and grandfather, great provider for his family, and an incredible role model which was very evident in every aspect of his life. He was always very active with his children’s sports as they were growing up. John would often coach his son’s baseball and football teams and even coached the men’s and women’s softball teams for Mars Hill Presbyterian Church. He was always very competitive when it came to sports, even while he was watching and cheering from the sidelines for his grandchildren as they played. John was a very proud, loyal and compassionate man who will be missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service to honor John Wesley Price, Jr. will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019 at twelve o’clock, noon at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Ga 30152.
