John Robert Boyko

John Robert Boyko, age 33, of Marietta, GA, passed away on Wednesday, November 1st, 2017. He was a graduate of Harrison High School, in Kennesaw, where he was member of the marching band and played trumpet. He then went on to attend Kennesaw State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. John was employed by ServIT in Kennesaw as the Marketing Coordinator.

John’s hobbies included kayaking, camping, fishing, cooking, playing the piano and golf. He was also an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. John Boyko will be remembered as a funny, talented, laid back, generous, kind person. John’s greatest passion was for his family.

John is survived by his mother, Peggy Parker and her husband Paul of Marietta, GA; his father, John Boyko and his wife Elaine of Tinton Falls, NJ; brother, Christopher Boyko of Tinton Falls, NJ; sister, Nicole Nash and her husband Marc of Marietta, GA; nephew, Matthew Nash of Marietta, GA; beloved dog Parker; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Monday, November 6th, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass to honor the life of John Boyko will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017 at 10:30 AM with Father Neil officiating. There will be a reception following services at the Event Center of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to one of the following: Mostly Mutts, Kennesaw Georgia, Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, CCFA.org, or the American Heart Association.
