Jimmy Howell Cantrell

Jimmy Howell Cantrell, age 57, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Jimmy was born in Marietta, GA on September 21, 1963 to Zebbie Thomas Cantrell and Thomas Cantrell. Jimmy was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was affectionately known by his grandchildren as Pops. Jimmy had many hobbies including hunting, fishing and working with his hands. He was also a sports enthusiast, he enjoyed watching his son-in-laws high school football teams, the Georgia Bulldogs, and the Atlanta Braves. Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother Zebbie Thomas Cantrell.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Kim Cantrell; son, Bryson and his wife Krista Cantrell; daughter, Brittany and her husband Jeremy Edwards; father, Thomas Cantrell; brother, Jerry Cantrell; his grandchildren, Colton Cantrell, Anslee-Paige Edwards, Easton Cantrell, Brookelynn Edwards, Kendall Edwards, father-in-law Tommy Arnold, nephews Chad Cantrell, Spencer Arnold, Harrison Arnold; nieces Christen Quinn, Macie and Magie Arnold; and a number of family and friends.

A visitation for Jimmy will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Chapel. Burial will occur following the funeral service at Greers Chapel Cemetery, 2095 Barrett Lakes Blvd, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
