It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our dearly loved Janet Louise Guarino at the age of 64. Janet was born in Delray, Michigan to her late parents; Jerome and Julia Zajas and grew up in River Rouge, Michigan. She was married to the love of her life, Robert M. Guarino, Sr for 43 wonderful years and they were blessed with two children: Robert M. Guarino Jr. and Kristin Dutson. Life was then complete with her 5 grandchildren, the “FAB 5” which include Bobby and Caroline Guarino’s children: Hayden, Colton and Olivia and Kristin and Alex Duston’s boys: Logan and Easton.
She is also survived by her two brothers; Paul and Jerome Zajas and two sisters Judith Marceau and Stephanie Bartha and preceded in death by her two brothers; Michael and Joseph Zajas, two sisters; Patricia and Mary Cosgrove.
Janet will be remembered as full of life, loving deeply, treasuring her family, opening her home to anyone, and having unwavering faith. A visitation will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:30 PM. Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb PKWY,Kennesaw, GA 30152. A private interment will be held at a later date.
