Mr. James Peyton Underwood, Jr. “Coach Peyton” age 50, Passed away February 22, 2014.
He was a Baseball Coach and Umpire with Acworth Baseball and was owner and operator of Your Right Direction Sign Source for 18 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth K. Underwood and most recently by his father, James P. Underwood, Sr.
Survived by his wife of 23 years, Lisa C. Underwood; his children, Chris Underwood, Allison Underwood-Helmes; Matthew Underwood, Jacob Underwood; sisters, Deborah Avins and Betty Chambers. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday Feb. 27 at 2 PM in the chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Max Padgett and Rev. Eric Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 2 until 4 PM and then again 6 until 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
