He was born in Atlanta to Charles and Mary Simpson.
Mr. Simpson moved to Cobb County at an early age. He retired as President of Recrete Environmental Services in 2012. Previously, he was Vice-President, Risk Management at Walker Concrete. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Acworth. Since retirement, he was an avid gardener, also enjoying wood-working and fishing.
He is proceeded in death by brother, Charles Simpson.

Sister – Barbara Leslie White (Sidney)
Many nieces and nephews. He treasured a special relationship with his nephew, Jamie.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3 pm Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation from 2 - 3 pm. Rev. Jim Chidester officiating.
