Jim will be remembered for his unceasing sense of humor that continued through his final days. An avid consumer of current events and American politics, Jim was always ready to debate with anyone who shared similar or different perspectives. Jim served honorably in the military from 1953-1959, and following his 8 years of service, he had a successful career as an insurance underwriter with Safeco Insurance. Jim lived in Seattle, Washington until he retired from Safeco in 1994 and moved to Kennesaw, GA.
Jim is survived by his 2 daughters, Maggie (Clint) and Katie (Wayne); 3 sons, Mike (Katrin), John (Libby), and Ryan; 3 grandchildren, Wes, Nick, and Hannah; and 3 siblings, Marie, Patty, and Mike.
A Memorial Mass to honor Jim Mullally will be held 10:30 am Thursday October 19, 2017 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Kennesaw, GA. Burial will follow services at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.
