Pastor James C. Breeden, 84, of Marietta, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Funeral is Saturday 2pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home in Kennesaw with burial to follow at Pineridge Memorial Park. The family is receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 – 9pm.
A man of God, Mr. Breeden was the Pastor for the Oasis of Love Church in Woodstock for the past 28 years. He was retired from Lockheed with 30 plus years and served as a Union Business Representative for 18 years with Local Lodge 709. He served our country honorable in US Army during WW II. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, and teacher by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife – Ruth Ann Breeden of Marietta, sons – James Michael Breeden and wife Diane Breeden of Carrolton, and John David and wife Bettina Breeden of Woodstock; daughters – Rebecca Jean and husband Michael Taylor of Dallas, GA, and Mary Ellen Cottrell of Acworth; grandchildren – David, Amanda, Josh, James, Amber, Steve Clay, and Caleb, and 10 great grandchildren.
