Hoyt J Wilson, age 84 passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022. Hoyt was born in Marietta, Georgia to Jerry and Mae Wilson. Hoyt was retired from Lockheed and also was a self employed trim carpenter. He was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Hoyt is survived by his daughters Lisa Stephenson (Philip), Robin Cole (Jerry), and Dana Hendley; his grandchildren Jake, Justin (Erica), Luke (Cara), Jordan, Braden, Jenna, and Ethan; his great grandchildren Liam, Eden, and Ezra. Also surviving is a son Roger Atkinson and his children. Hoyt was preceded in death by his wife Roberta Wilson and his granddaughter Mandy.
A visitation for Hoyt will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Following the visitation will be a chapel service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Perry Fowler officiating. Hoyt will be laid to rest in Pineridge Memorial Park.
