As a retired veteran, Homer was a devout Marine and had a great passion for serving his country. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, Meyerhart 314. Mr. Linkous was a great father and grandfather who made sure that his family was taken care of. He was the rock of his family. Homer was known for his honesty, wit and sense of humor.
Homer will be reunited with his parents, Ella and Joseph Linkous; daughter, Teresa Fair; daughter-in-law, Jenise Linkous; and 9 siblings. He leaves to cherish in his memory, sons, David Linkous , Eddie Linkous and his wife Bonnie; daughters, Michelle Boyd and her husband, Duwayne; grandchildren, Ryan Hunter and his wife, Brandy, Christopher Linkous and his wife Ruximar, Michael Linkous, Scott Hunter, Brad Fair, Bobby Fair; 16 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
The Family will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 3PM to 6PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11AM in the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. Burial will be held following the service at Pine Ridge Memorial Park with military honors.
