Helen M. Smith

Helen was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Acworth and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and collecting souvenirs from the numerous trips she enjoyed. She loved baking and cooking, especially biscuits and her famous dressing during the holidays. Helen will be missed by many and loved by all.

Helen is survived by her sons Rickey Smith (Donna), Andrew L. Smith, and David M. Smith (Lisa); daughter Hope M. Smith Ashworth (Marty); 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence E. Smith; her daughter Lou Ann Smith; her brother H. Louis Washington and her sister Margie Ridgeway.

A visitation for Helen will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A chapel service will occur Friday, August 12, 2022, 2:00 pm. Helen will be laid to rest in Rolling Hills Memory Gardens, Acworth, GA.
