Harold "Jim" Godfrey

Jim is survived by son Ronney Godfrey and wife Joie; son Denney Godfrey; daughter Connie Hester; and former daughter-in-law Debbie Lawson. Jim was preceded in death by his wife Lorene Godfrey.

A longtime Acworth resident, Jim served our country honorably in the US Army. He was retired from Yellow Freight and was a true family man. In his spare time, Jim loved working in his garden as well as fishing and hunting. A father and grandfather, Jim will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

A visitation for Jim will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A chapel service will occur Friday, February 12, 2021, 11am at the funeral home with burial following at Pineridge Memorial Park.
