Giovanni "John" Briganti passed away at home on May 14, 2022 at the age of 81 in Acworth, GA with his beloved wife Anna Marie Briganti. He was born in Favazzina, Italy in May of 1940. He immigrated to the United States as a teenager and learned the trade of the garment industry in New York. He met the woman who would become his wife on a blind date in 1970. They were married the following year. He raised his family in Middletown, NJ and enjoyed all sorts of hobbies including but not limited to motorcycles, road bikes (century rider), boats, archery, music and construction projects. He was most dedicated to Shotokan Karate and held the rank of 2nd Dan. He was an honest, hardworking man who believed in God and loved his family above all else. He deeply cherished and was very proud of his children: John Briganti, Robert Briganti (Kumiko) and Barbara Ann Forman (Matthew) and took great joy in all of his grandchildren: Chloe, Claudia, Giovanni, Sofia and Elijah. He also loved his brothers and extended family of in-laws, nieces and nephews.
