T/SGT George Thomas Cowen Jr. was a 16-year veteran on the US Air Force and serving in the Air Force reserve. During his time in the Air Force, he was overseas in South Korea, Kuwait, Germany, Japan, Iraq and Guam. He had a love for food, video games, taking photos, and running. He was a true Atlanta Sports fan embracing the Falcons, Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. He was preceded in death by his father George Thomas Cowan Sr.

Graveside services will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery at 2 pm Monday, November 2, 2020.
The family will receive friends at the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home on Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
