Frances Elizabeth Ormond, age 96, of Acworth, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Frances was born in Blackville, South Carolina on May 9, 1928 to the late Grover and Blanche Kennedy. Frances was an animal lover, and enjoyed watching birds. She was an avid reader, and in her younger years was a painter. Most of all Frances loved to be with her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Frances will be missed by all that had the honor of knowing her.
Frances is survived by her son; Michael Ormond (Anette), daughters; Patricia Gordon and Pamela Swain, brothers; James Kennedy and Larry Kennedy, 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Frances is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Harold Ormond, brothers; Grover Kennedy, Patrick Kennedy and Billy Kennedy, as well as her sister; Vivian Gibson.
