Emily had such a special place in our family, her laughter was contagious ! To her friends (as I read all of her messages )she was really loved.  
You as her parents David and Janice loved her dearly.. her sisters were always by her side. Emily loved her little Ana cait  and Griffin.  
My parents loved her very much xo as we cousin do also . 
We are so sorry for the loss of your lil baby girl.. we love you all

Emily had so much life and energy. I will never forget how she made me laugh during class. As her teacher Emily will never be forgotten.

David, just wanted to remind you that you have many friends in your KW Family who are ready, willing, and able to help!  I'm so sorry I was scheduled to be out of town and couldn't be there for your celebration of Emily's life, but know that I am always here for you.  There are no words that can bring you comfort at a time like this, but just know that you and your entire family are loved and prayed for!

Dear David and Janice, my heart breaks for you and your family. Emily was just a little girl when you moved away. I can see she has grown into a beautiful woman and well loved. I pray God will give you rest knowing she is with him.

Vaughn Family,
I love you guys so much and I loved my friendship with Emily. I think you guys probably all know that we did the CRAZIEST stuff together...and neither of us cared because we made each other laugh. I will miss Emily's contagious laugh, funny voices/noises and random break out dances. You guys were like family to me just like Emily was a part of mine. No one knows why bad things happen to those so innocent and whose life has hardly begun. For now it will have to remain the painful mystery that it is. Losses like this can make us challenge our faith; however, this is precisely the time when our faith needs to be its strongest.

I am praying that your faith will help you through this very difficult time. I pray that you will find the strength to get you through your grief and sadness.

Thinking of the Vaughn family during this sad time. Emily was a grade below me in  high school and was always friendly and happy. So sorry for this loss.

May God's peace and the love of God enfold you during this difficult time. We know that the love of family and friends will also comfort and strengthen you in the days ahead. Emily was a wonderful person to know. I am blessed to have known her personally as a Y employee.

There are not enough words to describe the joy that Emily brought to all that knew her. She was a big part of our Y family and it will not be the same. There is a sadness throughout the Y from Staff as well as members that had the pleasure of knowing Emily. She will be Dearly missed. Prayers and comfort to the Vaughn family.

So sad to hear this news. Emily was always one of my favorite members while I worked at the Y and one of my favorite peers in the KSU HPE program. She was the brightest, most fun person in any room. Rest easy, friend.

To the Vaughn Family, we are so sorry to hear about Emily.  This has been a very sad week for all of us.  We enjoyed every moment of time we got to spend with her, throughout the college years with Sara.  The weekend jobs she spent with us, introducing her to crazy songs like "Amos Moses" and singing them together!  She made us smile and laugh, ALL OF THE TIME, and while we will miss her so much, we know she is in a better place.  God takes the best ones first, and she is creating smiles all around HIM.  We will celebrate her life this evening, and Emily will always have a place in our heart!

Ive known Emily since i first moved to georgia. Sadly my family and i were not accepted because of the color of our skin. Emily never made me feel like that. she always said hi or asked how i was, or how my family was! The older she got the more beautiful she became inside and out. I often ran into her and you would swear she was your best friend. I always walked away from her with a smile! I want to thank Emily for being such a kind soul. I wish you were still here with us. I do hope you are now at peace! you deserve it

I'm so sad to hear of Emily's passing. I know her from the Y, and she always made me happy when she would visit with me. She was just so nice to be with. You will be missed and always remembered.

Dear Janice, David and family....
There are no words, and my heart breaks for you.   Emily has always a had special place in my heart....she made me laugh, and smile more times than I can count.  Emily brought joy to our home each time she walked through the door!  So many memories of our cheerleading trips....those days were so much fun!  The adventures of Emily and Allie will live forever!  You are all in my prayers anf I pray that all of the sweet memories that fill your hearts will ease your pain and bring you some peace as the days go by. We are saddened and shocked to hear of your passing, Emily.  Our hearts are breaking for your precious family.  While we have not seen you in years, I will always remember you riding your big wheel in your cul-de-sac as a little preschooler.  RIP sweet angel...

Emily was always so kind and full of energy at the Y.  She will be greatly missed.  Lifting prayers for all who loved her.

I was in the same home room as Emily all through high school. We always sat at the same table together every morning along with Margaret and had some hilarious conversations! We have lost touch after high school but I will always remember Emily's spirit and knack to make us all laugh. She was a very special individual and I know for a fact she changed many lives in her short time on Earth. Praying for all of her family and friends. RIP!

Emily. A sweet soul with the effortless ability to make every single person in the room laugh and smile. From her "party tricks" (the infamous splits) to her seamless ability to make every stranger a friend- Emily left a HUGE mark in this world. Praying and thinking of family and loved ones during this unimaginable time.

Emily and I went to the same middle school. I can remember her beautiful smile! My thoughts and condolences to her family and friends. Gone way too soon.

Oh I'm so sadden to hear this. She was such a sweet soul. I remember when you came upon my porch when you were in elementary school looking for your mom cause she was running late. Ever since then you had my heart. I thought you were sooo very sweet and such a lovely girl. The good ones always have to go but an angel you will always be.

Emily was a huge part of my days at KSU. She always wanted to get together and destress. And that's exactly what we would do! She was a light and always had us laughing. I am so sad to learn of her passing, but know that she is laughing and free of all struggles in heaven. Love you, sweet girl! ❤

I have known Emily all throughout high school and college.  Emily was always fun to be around and always had a smile on her face. Emily had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. God took a good one early from us and will be deeply missed by all. My condolences to the Vaughn Family. 

A intelligent and funny young woman she was a joy to be around.
