Earnest Lee Wright, Sr. was born on June 18, 1941 in Tipton County, TN to Berualree and Albert Wright, Sr. He received his education from Gala High School.
He met Mary Ann Lewis in Stanton, TN. They later married on October 21, 1960 and to this union six children were born. Earnest and Mary relocated to Milwaukee, WI on May 4, 1966. As a young husband and father he worked hard to provide and support his family. He was employed at Grede foundry until his retirement in 1998. Earnest loved watching sports, reading the newspaper, working on projects in his home and spending time with his family. Earnest left a lasting impression on everyone he came in contact with. He truly loved his wife and you’d hardly see one without the other. Earnest and Mary were inseparable. He was a faithful and devoted member of God Greater Miracle Tabernacle under the leadership of Pastor Willistean Pitts. He served as a Deacon and Overseer until his health begin to fail. In October 2012 he relocated to Kennesaw Georgia.
Earnest departed this life on November 9, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; Berualree and Albert Wright, Sr. and one brother; Albert Wright, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife and best friend of 53 years Mary Ann Wright, six children; Diana (Randy) Dills of Milwaukee, WI, Wilbert (Terri) Wright of Milwaukee, WI, Earnest Jr. (Sandra) Wright of Dallas, TX, Theresa (Cliff) Wright of Kennesaw, GA, Thomas (Helen) Wright of Milwaukee, WI, and Michael (Stacy) Wright of Acworth, GA, six brothers; Donald Wright, Terry (Lorraine) Wright, John (Jacqueline) Wright, Frank Wright, Charles (Delores) Wright, Wayne (Leondra) Wright, all of Milwaukee, WI, Danny Wright and Jerry Wright of Mason, TN, and one sister; Darlene (LC) McBride of Mason, TN. He also leaves to cherish his memories thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
