Eamonn Andrew Brennan, 50, of Acworth, GA joined his beloved parents in Heaven on Friday, August 28, 2015. He died suddenly in the comfort of his own home. Eamonn was born on April 30, 1965 in Dublin, Ireland to Maire and Richard Brennan. He was the third youngest of seven children.
Eamonn is preceded in death by his loving parents. He is survived by his two brothers – Bernard, and Richard Brennan; his four sisters – Yvonne Crist, Paula Fay, Catherine Wrightstone, Sinead Coll and their respective spouses; his ten nephews, ten nieces, and four great-nephews.
Eamonn worked for Rich’s Department Store for a number of years. Most recently, he was a co-owner of Cartersville-Pawn-N-Shop and a flight attendant with Delta Airlines for 16 years. From his early childhood, Eamonn had a tremendous passion for aviation. Throughout his childhood and young adult life, he built various commercial model airplanes. Eamonn was blessed with a beautiful tenor voice and participated in many musicals over the years with local theatre groups. Eamonn served as a dialect coach for Theatre Gael for a few years and won best actor for his betrayal of Fagan in Oliver at Roswell Theatre Group. Eamonn was also a member of Mensa.
Eamonn will be remembered as a loving brother, uncle and friend. He was a humanitarian who cared deeply for his fellow human beings. Eamonn’s generous spirit touched everyone’s lives. His purpose in life was to nurture and love his family and friends, and was a mentor to all of his nieces and nephews who adored him.
Visitation: Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 6-8pm followed by a funeral service on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 4pm. Both at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home at 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA. 30152.
