Donald Matthew Wisniewski

Donald Matthew Wisniewski (Don), age 56, suddenly passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. He was born on October 11, 1967 to Chester and Sandra Wisniewski in Albany, New York. Don was a funny, kind, and outgoing person who loved to tell dad jokes. He always lent a helping hand to family, friends, and neighbors. He was a big sports fan. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Yankees, and Atlanta United Soccer were his favorite teams. Don also liked watching Nascar and playing golf. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and daughters, going to Disney World, and watching Harry Potter/Star Wars movies. Don loved listening to music. Pink Floyd was his favorite band. He was very talented at fixing things and enjoyed doing remodeling projects. Above all else, Don loved his wife and his two daughters immensely. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend to many. He will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Valerie Wisniewski, daughters; Kelsey Wisniewski and Hailey Wisniewski, mother, Sandra Wisniewski, brothers; Steven Wisniewski, C.J. Wisniewski, sister, Sherri Fitzpatrick, and his half brother; Nicholas Webb. Don especially loved his two dogs; Sugar and Bear.

He is preceded in death by his father; Chester Wisniewski.

A visitation for Don will be held Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152, followed by a celebration of life at 3:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service with a light lunch will be held for Donald Wisniewski at The Hedge Bistro Restaurant at the Western Turnpike Golf Course, 2350 Western Avenue, Guilderland, NY 12084, on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 12:00 PM-3:00 PM.
