Dida Elizabeth Arevalo

Dida Elizabeth Arevalo, age 69, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022. Dida was born October 9, 1952, to the late Francisco Penado and Ana Joya in Santa Elena, El Salvador. She owned a restaurant for ten years called, "Pupuseria Santa Elena" where she made delicious food and especially pupusas which were her specialty. She had many talents and hobbies such as cooking, sewing, dancing, and listening to music. Dida loved many things in life but not as much as she loved her husband of forty years Julio Arevalo and their children. Dida will be missed by all that knew her.

Dida is survived by her sons Julio Arevalo Jr. (Teresa); Jeorge Arevalo (Manuela); Carlos Arevalo; and Jose Arevalo; her daughters Patricia Lozano (Hereson); Katia Arevalo; and Dina Arevalo; her grandchildren Yahir Arevalo, Jeorge Arevalo Jr and Zaira Dominguez (Hector); and her great granddaughter Iris Dominguez.

Dida was preceded in death by her father Francisco Elias Penado and her mother Ana Catalina Joya.

A visitation for Dida will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A visitation will occur Tuesday, February 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service will follow the visitation on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 5:00 PM.
