Dr. David Masao Kawasaki went home to his heavenly father on November 23rd, 2019 at the age of 89. David was born in Fostoria, Ohio on November 4th, 1930.
David received his medical degree from Ohio State University Medical School in 1956. He was proud to have served in the US Air Force for nine years as a medical officer. As an ob-gyn doctor, David had an immense impact on his community in Orange County, California, with a career that spanned almost 50 years in which he delivered over 10,000 babies and also served as Chief of Staff for Mission Hospital. He loved golf and spent time on the golf course whenever possible.
David is survived by his beloved wife Prudence Kawasaki, his children Tammy Jochens, Mark Kawasaki, and Jennifer Kawasaki, as well as his step-daughter Kimberley Cady and foster children John Wood and Geraldine Wood-Miksch. He was a beloved father, husband, doctor, friend, and disciple of Christ who touched the lives of so many. He will be greatly missed
