Conrad Estes Postell, age 84, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021. Conrad was born in Blue Ridge, GA on November 9, 1936 to his late parents, Dora Kell and Ernest Newton. Mr. Postell served his country faithfully in the United States Army and was Honorably discharged. He was a member of Open Bible Tabernacle Church for over 30 years and served in many different capacities as well as on the Board of Directors. Mr. Postell worked as a Structural Assembler and retired from Lockheed Martin.
Conrad is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Flora Holden Postell; son Joe Postell (Karen) of Woodstock, Georgia; daughter Patty Hughes of Kennesaw, Georgia; grandson Dustin Hughes (Melodie), granddaughter Kristen Moran (Joshua), grandson Joshua Postell (Courtney), granddaughter Jessica LaMontagne (Mark); great grandchildren, Clara Hughes, Caleb Hughes, Matthew Moran, Abigail Moran, Briella Postell, Jack LaMontagne; a number of nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Daisy.
A visitation for Conrad will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM, from the Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend David Milner and Pastor Grant Cole will be officiating the service. Pastor Charles Holden and his wife will be providing the music. Burial will occur Thursday, February 4, 2021 following the funeral service at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens, 4355 GA-92, Acworth, GA 30102.
