Tom was retired from the Federal Government as an Internal Revenue Agent. He had earned two degrees from community college and was also a honor student. Tom loved the beaches of Florida, especially Panama City where he loved playing golf on the courses there, Braves baseball, and Western Movies. Those who knew Tom will cherish his memory.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Beverly Rutherford; his daughter Dawn S. Rutherford Marchant (James); his sons Thomas F. Rutherford (Sally) and Randall J. Rutherford; his stepdaughter Diane Stager (Malcolm), his stepsons Douglas Goodoien and Daniel Goodoien (Valeri); many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for Clifford will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. Following the visitation will be a chapel service at 2:00 pm. Clifford will be laid to rest in Pineridge Memorial Park, 2950 Cobb Pkwy NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152-2606.
Serving as pallbearers are Randall Rutherford, Tommy Rutherford, Douglas Goodoien, Daniel Goodoien, Luke Goodoien and Michael Sorg.
