Christine graduated from Harrison High School where she played French horn in the symphonic band and mellophone in the marching band. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Sociology. She had a talent for writing and composed many beautiful poems for her family and friends. Family and friends meant so much to her throughout her life.
She loved to share her faith in Jesus. She was a member of Due West United Methodist Church where she enjoyed youth group and choir. She also had a great appreciation for nature and loved being outdoors. Some of her favorite trips were to the mountains and national parks. Also, providing safe homes to rescued pets was a common occurrence for Christine.
Christine is survived by her parents Gary and Ruth Henderson of Kennesaw, GA; sister and brother-in-law Jill and Alan Sell of Sugar Hill, GA; grandmother Jean Collion of Lawrenceville, GA; aunt and uncle Linda and Randy Batch of Lawrenceville, GA; uncle James Henderson of San Antonio, TX; uncle David Henderson of Waynesville, NC; aunt Becky Walker of Palm Springs, CA; aunt Debbie Henderson of Candler, NC. She leaves several cousins, one niece and 3 nephews in AL, CA, FL, GA and TX.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 11:00 AM at Due West United Methodist Church, 3956 Due West Road, Marietta, GA 30064.
