Cecil B. Mason

Cecil Bernard Mason, age 73, passed away on July 17, 2019. Cecil was born on January 30, 1946 to the late Charles and Rose Mason. Cecil enjoyed many things in life such as relaxing on the beach, playing golf, dinner at Chick-fil-A, but none of them come close to the role of a father. The love he had for his family was immeasurable. He truly enjoyed being a father. He also liked to make people laugh with his great sense of humor. His second most important role was that of a coach. He coached track in field and influenced many young people.

On May 3, 2009 he married the love of his life, Michele, and they spent ten loving years together before his passing. Throughout life, Cecil held a long-term career as an air traffic controller with Phoenix Air and before that as an executive at IBM.

Cecil is survived by his wife, Michele Miller; sons, Matthew Mason and Michael Miller; daughters, Kimberly Mason and Adhima Miller; and sister, Rosalind Patience.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at two o’clock in the afternoon, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service.
