Carol Ann Wick

Carol was born November 24th, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio. She grew up there and graduated from John Marshall High School. Carol and John met at a church dance, courted, and were later married for time and eternity in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints temple in Washington, DC.

She and John resided in Aurora, OH and Charlotte, NC prior to settling in Acworth. Before becoming a full-time grandmother, Carol worked as a secretary and provided in-home daycare.

Carol loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and loved serving them.

Her favorite activities with John were watching movies together and traveling. Her favorite vacations were at the beach with all the family. Carol was an avid reader. She loved her cats and dog.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, John Wick of Acworth; daughter Jennifer (Jonathan) Garfield of Kennesaw; grandchildren Cyanna, Sydney, Kate, Jonathan Jr., and Ben; brother-in-law, Jim Buck; niece Merideth (Glenn) Kelso of Chesapeake, Va; and nephew Keith (Jennifer) Buck of Roanoke, Va. She is predeceased by her parents, Michael and Margaret Kashi Duffalo, and her sister Marilyn Buck.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, January 7, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152. A second visitation will be held Monday, January 8, from 12:00 – 12:50 PM with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
