Carol Lynne Kemp, age 68, passed away on Saturday February, 3rd, 2024. Carol was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was a lifelong resident of North Cobb County. She was a friend to many and respected by all that she met. She retired from IBM after 29 years as a project manager. In retirement, Carol treasured the time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Carol is survived by her sons Timothy Grizzle (Beth) and Matt Palmer (Bonnie), her grandchildren Chase Grizzle (Bri), Abby Pallaschke (Ryan), Alex Grizzle, Rhett Palmer, and Kyle Palmer, and her great-grandchildren, Jackson Pallaschke, Delaney Grizzle and Autumn Grizzle. Carol was preceded in death by her parents William Doyle and Aline Vaughan, and her sister LuAnne West.
A visitation will be held on Friday February 16th, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park at 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152. A chapel service is scheduled for Saturday February 17th, 2024 at 11:00 am, officiated by Pastor Cory Hallett. She will be laid to rest at Pine Ridge Memorial Park.
