Betty Louise Butler, age 78 passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. She was born on August 18, 1945 in Shell City, Missouri to the late Ralph and Betty Birdsong. Betty served the Lord faithfully and attended First Baptist of Atlanta. She was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching the Braves, the Kansas City Royals and the Chiefs. Betty enjoyed reading and playing Mahjong. She also enjoyed listening to George Strait and Alan Jackson. Most of all Betty loved her family and wanted to spend as much time with them as she could. Betty was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Candy Schreier, granddaughter; Amanda Schreier, and brothers; Bob and Bill Birdsong and host of nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Betty will be held Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30152. A graveside service will occur Monday, April 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.
