Mrs. Barbara Barb Jean Beck Nafziger

Barbara Jean (Beck) Nafziger (78) went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 30, 2010 in Greenville, SC. She was a daughter of the late Russell Rorabaugh Beck and Alberta Moore Beck. She was predeceased by her husband Marvin L. Nafziger of Archbold, OH.

Barbara was born in Warren, PA; graduating from Sheffield High School in 1950. She married Marvin Nafziger in 1952. They lived in Albany and Atlanta, GA areas where she enjoyed her family, her children and grandchildren, sewing, cooking, decorating, and being hospitable. She enjoyed volunteering, participating in the seniors group and mercy ministries of Wildwood Church PCA in Tallahassee, FL. She developed many friendships in the various places she lived. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Surviving are sisters Marla (Irvin) Starry of West Unity, OH and Martha Hallman, Liberty Center, OH, brother-in-law Robert W. Nafziger, Archbold, OH, children: Tim (Millie) Nafziger, Greenville, SC, Rebecca (Clyde) Freeman, Hiram, GA, Steve (Marti) Nafziger, Lawrenceville, GA, Rhoda Nafziger (Tris Coffin), Villanova, PA, Sarah Waddle, Tallahassee, FL, Susanna (Andy) Miller, Atlanta, GA. Grandchildren: Timothy Jr., Russell, Mildred, Anna and Emily Nafziger, Benjamin, Stephanie and Elizabeth Nafziger, Brooks (Christine) Waddle and Woods Waddle, Sebastian and Christian Rotsch and great-grandson Carter Waddle.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 5th, at 2:00 PM, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Parkway, Kennesaw, GA 30144, 770-422-7299, www.winkenhoferpineridgefuneralhome.com with the family receiving friends from12:30 to 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Father's Storehouse at Wildwood Church PCA, 100 Ox Bottom Road, Tallahassee, FL 32312.
