She had five siblings, one sister and four brothers. She left Chattanooga after high school and moved to Atlanta and became a Beauty Consultant for Davison's Department Store in Atlanta. She met and married Eugene Taylor Griffith in 1956. They moved to Marietta where he was employed by Lockheed Inc. They later moved to Vinings where she lived for fifty years.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Taylor Griffith, her parents, and all of her siblings.
She is Survived by Her daughter Trixie Griffith Roukoski , son-in-law Andy Roukaski, two grand daughters, Mitzi and Kayley Roukoski, sister-in-laws, Barbara Sedman and Doris Sedman Giles and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives 45 minutes prior to the graveside services at the funeral home. Graveside service will be 2 pm Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Pine Ridge Memorial Park Kennesaw, GA.
