Barbara Mae Gardner, age 87, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022. Barbara was born July 29, 1934 to the late YZ "Pat" and Beatrice Mills. She enjoyed going to estate sales and looking for antiques. Barbara was always doing yardwork and especially enjoyed mowing the grass. Above all else, Barbara adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and good neighbor. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Barbara is survived by her daughters Ellen Gardner and Janet Perry; her brother Donald Mills (Kathleen); her grandchildren Josh Perry (Melissa), Dalton Perry, and Sara Perry, and her great- grandchildren Carson Perry, Riley Perry and Shelby Mae Perry.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Samuel Gardner Jr.; her brother Russel Mills (Mary Jo) and her sister Sarah Ellen.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152. A service will occur after the visitation Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 12:00 PM. An interment will occur Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Pine Ridge Memorial Park, 2950 Cobb Parkway North, Kennesaw, Georgia 31052.
