Raised in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, Tony was a veteran of the US Navy. After the Navy, he attended Quaker Aeronautical school in Philadelphia. He then began a long career as a flight inspector at various airlines and 10 years at Lockheed Martin. He spent the remainder of his career as an Aerospace Ground Technician at the Air National Guard and retired after 30 years as a Master Sergeant.
Tony enjoyed restoring antique cars, gardening, and reminiscing about airplanes and his days in the Navy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Del Prato of Marlton, New Jersey.
His memory will be cherished by his wife, Retta; daughters Beth and Kim; son Ted; his granddaughter Nicole; and many extended family members and friends.
There will be a celebration of life held in his honor at a later date this spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to Furkids.
