As a second-generation nurse, she loved her job, her patients and her fellow staff. On her last day before retiring, she proudly wore her white uniform, white stockings, shoes, original cap and cape to celebrate her long career. She was quite the hit.
After retirement, the Sill’s moved to Kennesaw, GA for about three years. They then decided to move further south and moved to Cypress Lakes in Lakeland, Fl. where Ann and Hal both enjoyed many activities and friends over a period of twenty years.
This past July, they moved back to Kennesaw to be closer to family.
Ann always wanted to play cards, especially bridge. She was a fan of baseball and many other sports. Ann was very crafty, she could knit, crochet, and was excellent at painting on fabrics. She enjoyed swimming and laying poolside with her family and friends. Ann was an avid reader and sudoku player. She also was a great bowler and she enjoyed getting people together to bowl with her. Ann was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Ann was devoted to God and enjoyed singing in her church choir. Most of all Ann loved her family and wanted to be with them as much as she could. Ann was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her.
